First, here's a little background info on the family. They first came into existance when I started playing the original Sims game. I don't remember how they came about, only that everything about them (ie their clothes, their furniture, the structure of their house, etc.) had to be blue. It all began with a father named Patrick, a mother named Judy, a "teenager" named Desiree, and a young boy named Peter. In the original game, Sims didn't age - you could only make adults and children - so when I say "teenager" I mean an adult Sim built to look a little younger than her parents. They were a utopian family - blond hair, blue eyes, doll-like faces - and I loved them so much I had to recreate them in the Sims 2 (and then eventually in the Sims 3 as well).

The Denim family story begins in the growing town of Urbandale; a green city with lots to offer. It has a bustling center-town lined with shops and community lots, as well as a seperate downtown area. The nearby Academie Le Tour offers college life to every Sim on their journey to adulthood. Urbandale's climat varies from hot summers to cold winters, but every season has its perks. It is here that Patrick and Judy settled to raise their children. However, when kids grow up and move out on their own, they don't always stay very close to home.

The new and bustling towns of Sunset Valley and Riverview are just a few of the towns where many of Patrick and Judy's children and grandchildren chose to make their homes. These towns offer a much faster paced way of life, but for those of the Denim bloodline who grew tired of the more rural lifestyle, these places are the perfect transition to real city life. Here, everything is close at hand. The always busy, always moving towns are very focused on community. Surrounding businesses and private homes offer every opportunity to socialize with friends or to meet new neighbors. First, however, let's make ourselves aquainted with the family ...

The Denim Family Tree: Click on the green-highlighted sims on the below family trees to view information about these characters and the accomplishments of their lives. Information about the non-highlighted Sims can sometimes be found under "Other Denim Family Members" in the list of links below. Please note, however, that some unhighlighted Sims closest to the bottom of the chart are a work in progress and may not have their own page yet (specifically if their picture shows them as children or teenagers). And, for those who are unfamiliar with the games, the grey sims are deceased.

This page is a collection of images and information about my Sim family, the Denims (made with the Sims 2 and Sims 3 games for PC). Please see the bottom of this page for further info on the Sims games by Maxis.

Last Update: July 10, 2015

I've added new pages in the Denim Family Tree for Thomas and Tristan (who have finally made it to adulthood and are now taking up residence in the Sims 3).  Also, you will notice a new image entitled "The Gardner/Fleig Family Tree" which is a new branch that I've added to expand on Eva and Flora Gardner's side of the family.  Eva and Flora each have their own page now as well.  Further development on the fourth generation of sims is currently underway.  So, back to gameplay!
