Other Denim Family Members
Stephen and Patricia Denim:
They are the parents of Patrick and Brian Denim. Very little is known about them except that Stephen was a journalist and Patricia was a nurse. Their origins are unknown. After retiring, they both moved in with their youngest son, Brian. There, Patricia took up gardening and Stephen didn't do much except go for a jog every morning with Brian's dog, Sheba. Stephen was also good friends with John Gray and they liked to play chess together. Both Stephen and Patricia died of old age.
Brian Denim:
Brian is Patrick's younger brother. He was an eternal bachelor, much more laid back and far less serious than Patrick. His family never knew exactly what his job was, but it is rumored that he had a leg in the criminal network. At least, it was certain that he was very good at keeping secrets. Brian had a few minor girlfriends over the course of his life, but he was more or less content taking care of himself, his dog, and his parents (while they were alive). Brian died peacfully in his old age.
John and Elizabeth Gray:
They are the parents of Judy (Gray) Denim. They each struggled with Elizabeth's terminal illness, but made the best of each day as if it were their last. John supported his small family financially on his own, working his way through the low ranks of the business career. The Gray's were by no means well-off, but they got by comfortably on what little money they had. After Elizabeth's death, John stayed with his daughter Judy even after her marriage to Patrick Denim. He became good friends with Patrick's father Stephen and lived to see the birth of his first two grandchildren.
Anthony Bar:
Anthony was a waiter at the Academie Le Tour coffee shop when he met Daphne. She was not hard to notice but, despite his somewhat unique sense of style, he was actually more of an introvert. So, it was she who ended up making the first move, and he was glad she did. Anthony and Daphne were a perfect match and they got married soon after graduation. Even though they never had any children, Anthony still enjoyed an eventful life with Daphne as they embarked on many wonderful adventures together (and some misadventures).
Henry and Paula Gardner:
Henry and Paula are the parents of Eva and Flora Gardner. Their family became part of the Denim family when their oldest daughter, Eva, married Levis Denim. Henry is also very well-known as the founder of Gardner's Groceries, a thriving grocery business in Urbandale. Paula had a talent for growing vegetables and cooking very flavorful dishes with the produce that she grew. She was also a part-time teacher. Both she and Henry were both very thrilled to become part of the growing Denim family.
Michael Fleig:
Michael met Flora in university and was among her group of friends. He quickly fell in love with her and they were married shortly after graduation. They moved in with Flora's parents and eventually inherited the home. Michael is somewhat geeky and is very smart. He began a career as a Natural Scientist while Flora managed the family business at Gardner's Groceries. Together they raised a single daughter into adulthood.
